Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use our website or hire The Grout Restorer for tile and grout work.

Last updated: May 15, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of thegroutrestorer.com (the “Site”) and the tile and grout services provided by The Grout Restorer, Inc. (“The Grout Restorer,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using the Site or hiring us, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the Site

The Site is provided for informational purposes — to share our services, gallery, service areas, and contact information. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site.
  • Interfere with the Site's normal operation.
  • Copy, scrape, or republish Site content without our written permission.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site.

Estimates and proposals

Estimates we provide — whether by phone, email, or on-site — are good-faith approximations based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may change if the scope of work changes, if conditions discovered during the job differ from what was described, or if you request additional work. We'll discuss any changes with you before doing the work.

Estimates are valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise in writing.

Scheduling and access

Once a job is scheduled, you agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area at the agreed time. If we arrive and can't access the site, or if the job is canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, we may charge a trip fee.

Payment

  • Payment is due upon completion of the work unless we agree to other terms in writing.
  • We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice. Returned checks or failed payments may be subject to a fee.
  • Past-due balances may accrue interest at the highest rate allowed by Florida law and you agree to pay any reasonable collection costs, including attorneys' fees.

Our workmanship

We stand behind the work we perform. If you're not satisfied with a job we completed, contact us within a reasonable time and we'll come back to look at it. Specific warranty terms — for example on color sealing or re-grouting — will be described on your invoice or proposal.

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, harsh chemicals, or abrasive cleaning.
  • Pre-existing conditions such as substrate movement, hidden moisture, or failing tile that was disclosed before the work.
  • Normal wear and tear over time.
  • Work performed by others on top of, or after, our completed work.

Customer responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Disclose any known issues with the tile, substrate, plumbing, or surrounding finishes before work begins.
  • Keep children and pets away from the work area while we're on site and during any cure times we specify.
  • Follow any care instructions we provide after the work — many grout problems come back when surfaces are scrubbed with the wrong cleaners.

Photographs of completed work

We may photograph completed work for our portfolio, gallery, and marketing. Photos will not include your name, address, or any identifying information. If you'd prefer we not photograph your project, let us know before we start.

Intellectual property

The Site, including its text, photos, logos, and design, is owned by The Grout Restorer or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our content without our written permission, except for normal personal browsing.

Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work to keep information on the Site accurate, we make no warranties — express or implied — about the Site, including its accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Grout Restorer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or the services we provide. Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from the Site or our services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in FL.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
